She was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Salisbury, MO, serving as lector and rosary leader for many years. She loved to travel, playing bridge or spades and hunt for antiques with a special love for dishes.  She always looked forward to her next trip.  She traveled extensively to all 50 states and throughout Europe, Canada and Central America.  Carolee was proud of her Rice, Oliver, Burkett, Wolfe and Cain genealogy and spent many of her last years researching and recording those lines.
