Service Information: A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Keytesville City Cemetery with full military honors.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Larry’s Warrior Foundation.


Charles Woodrow “Chuck” Gandt, 92, of Keytesville, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Brunswick Nursing and Rehab.  

He was born October 23, 1925 in Dalton, MO, a son of Gus and Mary (Drew) Gandt.  

Chuck served in the United States Navy during WWII.  After being honorably discharged he later joined and served in the United States Air Force as a mechanic during the Korean Conflict.  He was known for always driving a Ford Mustang.  Chuck enjoyed working on cars and was a member of the Brunswick American Legion Post #7. 

Survivors include one sister, Katie Kaneer; two nieces, Diane Huckshorn and Debbie Kaneer all of Belton, MO 

In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Everett Gandt and one sister, Louise Strub.
