Visitation Information: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO.
Service Information: Services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Larry’s Warrior Foundation.


Richard Everett “Dick” Jaecques, 85, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO.  

Dick was born on December 18, 1932 in Moline, IL., a son of Everett and Emma (LePeere) Jaecques.  On August 15, 1952 in Rock Island, IL. he married Margaret McCormick who preceded him in death on April 21, 2010.  

He and Maggie moved to Missouri in 1955.  Dick was a retired farmer where he raised Polled Hereford Cattle.  He owned and operated Dick’s APCO station in Salisbury for many years.  Dick was a member of the Moberly Moose Lodge and enjoyed dancing with Maggie on Saturday nights. 

Survivors include five children, Pamela Bertsch (Ralph) of Bynumville, MO, Steven Jaecques (Jane) of Clifton Hill, MO, Anthony “Tony” Jaecques (Denise) of Granbury, TX, Chris Jaecques of Moberly, MO; Scott Jaecques of Moberly, MO; two brothers, Robert Jaecques (Carol) of Cairo, MO, Eugene Jaecques of Cairo, MO; one sister, Arlene Hudson of Moberly, MO;12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to both of his parents and his wife of 58 years he was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Hazel Jaecques; one brother -in-law, Duane Hudson and one daughter -in-law, Jerie Jaecques.
