Alma Lucille Wright, 92, of Salisbury, MO, passed away peacefully February 6, 2018 at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO.  Lucille was born February 18, 1925 in Thomas Hill, MO the daughter of Onie Eugene and Mattie Alice (Lyon) Turner.  She married the love her life, John Hoyle Wright, on July 25, 1944 in Salisbury, MO and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2008.


Lucille was a homemaker, 4-H leader, member of the Salisbury United Methodist Church, Chariton County Historical Society and enjoyed volunteering at the Salisbury Senior Center. Lucille was a very social person and loved to be in the company of family and friends.


Lucille is survived by two, daughters Carol Jane (Jim) Harvey of Sedalia, MO, Kathy (R.L.) Nelson of East Moline, a son Phillip (Luann) Wright of Jefferson City, MO, Il, ten grandchildren Lance Harvey, Jill Kindle, John Nelson, Yancy Nelson, Kim Wilkey, Jake Nelson, Stephanie Treon, Jeff Sallee, Nathan Wright, Alyssa Wright, twenty great grandchildren, niece Donna (John) Callahan of Salisbury, and a nephew David Hawkins of Wichita, KS.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son John Stephen Wright, daughters Joyce Evelyn Wright, Phyllis Ann Wright, and Janice Marie Sallee.
