Charles Howard Nispel, Jr, 60, was born June 11, 1957.  He passed away at 8:57 am on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury, MO, with his sisters, by his bedside.  They were singing “Amazing Grace”, his favorite song when the Lord took him by the hand and led him through to the Promise Land.  Right after the last word of the song he took his last breath.  God is always right on time, and to our loving, beloved brother, your work on earth is done.  Rest in Peace, until we meet again.

Charles was a member of the Shawnee, KS, Assembly of God Church.  He served in the United States Marine Corps.  Charles had worked for the Carpenters Union District Local 714 and later merged to the Carpenters Union District Local 315.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, water skiing, and riding his motorcycle.  Charles loved eating his mother’s homemade pineapple ice cream, music, dancing, and most of all, spending time with family at family barbecues.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Nispel in 2013; father, Charles Howard Nispel, Sr. in 1995; two sisters, Sherry Keck in 1990 and Wanda Aston in 2013.

Survivors include four sisters, Dorothy Nispel of Hermitage, MO, Nina Colson (Gary) of Atoka, TN, Cecelia Currin (Vinny) of Lenexa, KS and Virginia Zelk of Cross Timbers, MO.
