Biography:

Clarence  Albert "Hick" Jackson, Sr.  77 years old departed this life on May 31st, 2018 at Chariton Park Health Care Center, Salisbury, MO. He was the son of Louise Arnold and James Blake.

He was baptized at an early age at St. Luke AME Methodist Church. He was United in marriage to Gloria Tatum and to this union was born 4 children: Clarence "Pee Wee" Jackson and wife Karen of Salisbury; Dolores Cole of Salisbury, MO; Dale Jackson; Carl and fiance Stacy of Henderson, NV Jackson; Grandkids: Tiffany (Wayne) Jackson of Columbia, MO; LaTasha Jackson of Columbia, MO; Damitrik Jackson of Shelbyville, MO; Cedric Gaines of Columbia, MO; nine great grandchildren;Sisters: Dorothy Williams of Moberly, MO; Marvella Robinett(Les) of Columbia, MO; Carrie Sue(Lee) of Brunswick MO; Sheila Shaffer of Columbia, MO, Lynda Arnold(Kevin) of Salisbury, MO. Brothers: Wayne Blake(Susan); Harold Blake. Uncles: Leroy Jackson; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.

Clarence was a life long resident of Salisbury. Clarence graduated from Salisbury High School Class of 1959. He was employed at Salisbury Meat Market until he retired working for Bill Lentz and Bill Marek.  Clarence loved to play his music of Elvis Presley and his Blues.  He enjoyed hunting rabbits, fishing and being around family.

Clarence was preceded in death by parents,grandparents Claude & Mary Jackson two sisters: Ada Mae and Mary Ann.
