Visitation Information: Visitation is Friday, July 6, 2018, 4-7:00 p.m.. with Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO.
Service Information: Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Biography:

Barton Louis "Bart Henke 56 of rural Salisbury, Missouri died Thursday, July 5th, 2018 at his home. He was born April 15, 1962 in Fayette, Missouri the son of Lawrence and Bernice (Fuemmeler) Henke.

 

Bart was a graduate of Salisbury High School class of 1980. 

Bart married Rhonda Niemeier on April 4th, 1986 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salisbury.

Bart worked as a mill worker for the Salisbury Ag Center from 1979 till 2015. He also worked at Donna's Place, Our Place and the Bottle for 13 years.

He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed most of all being with his family, playing poker online, drinking a few beers and partying with friends.

 

Survivors include his wife of the home, parents Lawrence and Bernice Henke of Salisbury, four sons * two of which are his brother Farley's (who died in a car accident)* Aaron and his wife Jennifer Henke of Greenfield, MO; *Justin Henke of the home, Roman and his fiance' Jo Sportsman of Salisbury, Johnathan Henke of the home, two daughters, Katie Henke of the home and Susan Henke and her fiance' Ryan Lewis of Ashland, MO; four brothers, Carey (Mary Jo) Henke of Salisbury, Darrell (Janice) Henke of Overland Park, KS; Roy (Karen) Henke of Allen, TX; Ben (Michelle) Henke of Heath, TX; two sisters, Laura (Will) Friend of Elgin, IL: Julie (Kenny) Reichert of Brunswick, sister-in-law, Angie Henke of Salisbury, four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Bart was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward "Eddie" Henke and Farley Henke and a nephew, Adam Henke.
