Visitation Information: Visitation is 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Summerville Funeral Home.
Service Information: Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the funeral home with inurnment to follow in the Salisbury City Cemetery.

Andrya Pauline DeGhelder, 39, of Grovetown, Georgia, formerly of Salisbury, MO, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at her home.  Andrya was born March 23, 1979 in Peoria, IL the daughter of William R. and Donna M (Logan) DeGarmo. 

Andrya was a graduate of Salisbury High School, Class of 1997.  She graduated from South West Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  Andrya studied her master’s degree in biochemistry clinical Laboratory Science and at Augusta University, where she held her Masters’ in Biology.  Early in her working career she worked in Pharmaceutical Research and later as a Clinical Laboratory Technician at Augusta University and most recently at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.  Eight years ago, she developed a rare medical condition called Aplastic Anemia at the time of the birth of her son Kellan.  She valiantly overcame the disease and her goal was to research blood disorders such as her own.    

Andrya is survived by her parents Donna & Weldon Morrison of Salisbury, MO, a son Kellan DeGhelder of Grovetown, Georgia, a brother Logan DeGarmo of Salisbury, MO; a sister Amy M. Bowen (Scotty) of Salisbury, MO; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father William DeGarmo, grandparents William and Pauline DeGarmo and Nathan and Evelyn Logan.
