Robert Lee Wilson, 85, of Salisbury, MO, died Monday, October 1, 2018 at Pioneer Health Care Center in Marceline, MO.  Robert was born February 5, 1933 in Princeton, MO the son of Robert E. and Eulah (Miller) Wilson.  He married Carletta Mae Disselhorst on June 23, 1963 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Des Moines, IA.

Robert was a graduate of William Chrisman High School in Independence, MO, class of 1951.  He served in the U.S. Navy, during the Korean Conflict.  Robert was an engineer for 30 years, for Rock Island and Northwest Railroad.  He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Des Moines, IA,  Harry S. Truman American Legion Post in Independence, MO, Eagles, and the United Transportation Union.

Robert is survived by his wife Carletta Wilson of the home, two daughters Stephany (Rick) Clark of Salisbury, MO, Kim (Mike) Shuey of West Des Moines, IA, grandchildren Kyra Clark, Jordan Clark, Tarah Heath and Cela Minnick, great grandchildren Theodore Shuey and Paisley Felten.  He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Nate Shuey.
