Service Information: Services are 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Summerville Funeral Home with burial in Asbury Cemetery.

William Glen West, 85 of Salisbury, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Glasgow Gardens in Glasgow, Missouri. He was born October 18, 1933 in Butler, Missouri the son of Ellis and Catherine (Burch) West, Sr. 

Glen married Patricia Louise Powell on December 24, 1951 in North Kansas City, Missouri and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2009.

Glen worked for Sanders Decorating in Salisbury for many years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking and volunteered at the Salisbury Senior Center for many years. He was of the Methodist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, two daughters, Glenda Louise Munden and Mary Catherine Parker, and a brother, Ellis West, Jr.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald West and his wife Eliese and Roy West and his wife Laura Kaye all of Salisbury, two sisters, Eileen Junker of Clark Fork, Idaho and Linda Groves of Kansas City, seven grandchildren, Jennifer Milam, Patricia (Chuck) McKinstry, Sean (Ora) West, Calvin (Lindsey) Stearns, Paul (Cien) West, Michael (Melanie) West, and Lexie (Hunter) Creech, eighteen grandchildren, two sons-in-law, Lee Parker and Gary Munden both of Keytesville, and several nieces and nephews.
