Service Information: Services are Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at the Salisbury United Methodist Church. Visitation is 10-11:00 a.m., with Services at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Lanark Church of the Brethren, burial in Brethren Cemetery Shannon, IL
Contributions: Memorials may be made to the Salisbury United Methodist Church.


Sharon Kay Schoonhoven, 72, of Keytesville, MO, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at The Lodge in Fayette, MO.  Sharon was born April 15, 1947 in Freeport, IL the daughter of Donald LeRoy and Mildred Ruth (Hawbecker) Schriner.  She married Wayne Edward Schoonhoven on August 27, 1965 in Lanark, IL and he preceded her in death in 2000.


Sharon was a graduate of Lanark High School.  Sharon work as a sales agent for Rickett's Farm Service in Salisbury, MO  from 1975 until her retirement in November 2015, and then continued working as a district consultant for Purina Feeds.  She was a member of the Salisbury United Methodist Church, and the Women in Agriculture committee, and a leader for the Chariton County Shining Stars 4-H group for 18 years.


Sharon is survived by two daughters Alecia Schoonhoven of Salisbury, MO, Correen (Mark) Wooldridge of Carrollton, MO, brothers Keith D. (Joan) Schriner of Lanark, IL, Dennis (Karen) Schriner of Lanark, IL, grandchildren Charleece Schoonhoven, Harley (Robbie) Link, Clay Wooldridge.
